DALLAS — Police released new surveillance video Wednesday capturing the moments before a man was shot to death in Dallas last week.
The Dallas Police Department asked for the public's help solving a June 7 homicide in the 1300 block of West Wheatland Road. Police said Keylon Brown, 29, parked his vehicle at an apartment just before 12:30 a.m. Friday. Investigators said Brown exited the car and removed items from the vehicle when he was ambushed by two suspects in all-black clothing.
According to police, one suspect was armed with a handgun and the other had a rifle. One of the suspects shot and killed Brown while a third suspect waited in the courtyard, police said.
After the deadly shooting, police said the three suspects ran to a silver sedan and left heading westbound on West Wheatland Road.
The suspects connected to Brown's murder have not been caught as of Wednesday.
The department said the public should call Detective Theodore Gross at 214-671-3143 or theodore.gross@dallaspolice.gov with any tips related to the homicide.
