WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas — Police say they’re still looking for a man who rammed into a police car and led police on a chase in a stolen vehicle that ended in White Settlement Sunday.

White Settlement police say they were told a vehicle that’d been stolen out of Fort Worth had pulled into a McDonald’s restaurant in the 8500 block of West Freeway shortly before 2 p.m.

Officers arrived at the restaurant and found the stolen car, later identified as a Jeep Liberty SUV, unoccupied, according to police.

Fort Worth PD told White Settlement PD that the driver was fleeing on foot toward Western Hills Blvd. and a passenger fled toward a motel along the I-30 service road, according to a news release from WSPD.

The man ran back toward the SUV and jumped inside, police say. An officer pulled in behind the SUV and the SUV reversed, ramming into the officer’s Tahoe, officials say.

Watch video of the chase here:

The officer pursued the SUV as it went westbound on I-30 before stopping the pursuit because of excessive speeds, according to police. Police later released a photo of the suspect, shown wearing a "Young & Reckless" shirt.

Officers arrested the passenger, identified as Kayla Martinez, 33, at a motel in the 7900 block of the I-30 service road on a complaint of possession of a controlled substance, according to police.

Fort Worth officers found the SUV abandoned in the 1700 block of Shade Tree Lane, according to a news release from WSPD.
