PLANO, Texas — Plano police arrested 3 people suspected of robbing a pharmacy after pursuing them from Plano to Dallas, officials said.
Officers responded to a burglary alarm around 2:18 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20 at a pharmacy located in the 6100 block of Windhaven Pkwy, according to a press release from Plano police.
As officers arrived at the scene, they saw broken glass and a vehicle leaving the business, police said. Officers began pursuing the vehicle and a police helicopter responded to the scene, according to the release.
The pursuit ended in Dallas, police said. Two suspects were arrested at the vehicle and the third suspect ran away but was later arrested with the help of Dallas Police and the Department of Public Safety, police said.
An investigation is ongoing, police say.
