HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Deputies shut down a large drug lab in northwest Harris County and confiscated over $1 million in drugs.

Deputies arrested suspects at two locations, some at a warehouse and some at an apartment in the 1000 block of Pinemont Dr. The suspects in the apartment were linked to the operation at the warehouse, deputies say.

The warehouse, which is in the same strip center as a daycare and church, is located in the 4800 block of W 34th St. The location was being used to make methamphetamine pills and making them appear as "ecstasy" pills.

The suspects would make several thousand pills a day and then sell and distribute them.

Deputies also found counterfeit money and codeine syrup in the apartment.

The four men arrested are: Walter Abedego Stewart, 30, Carlos Ernesto Castillo Jr., 24, Quennell Glen Stewart, 34 and Kevin Barnard Flood, 21. They were all charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance over 400 grams.
