DALLAS — Dallas police say a person was shot after an attempted vehicle theft early Saturday morning.
Police responded to the shooting call in the 3600 block of Bon Park Court shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday. Officers say unknown suspects tried to steal the victim's vehicle, the victim sped off, and the suspect rammed into the victim’s vehicle. The victim’s vehicle hit a street light pole, and a suspect shot the victim, police say.
The victim was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition, according to police.
Police are still investigating the incident. It's unclear how many suspects were involved.
