DALLAS — Police are investigating a New Year's Day shooting in a South Dallas neighborhood that left one person injured.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3000 block of Morgan Drive at 12:20 p.m., according to the Dallas Police Department.
When officers arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital and his condition and identity are unknown at this time.
No motive or suspect description was immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
