DALLAS — One person has been arrested after a deadly shooting in Dallas on Christmas afternoon, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Officers responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Lenway Street around 2:15 p.m., police said. When officers arrived they found one victim, identified as 377-year-old Michael Mitchell, suffering from a gunshot wound, DPD said.
The victim died at the scene, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue.
The motive of the shooting is unclear at this time. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
