FORT WORTH, Texas — One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting Monday afternoon at a motel in Fort Worth, police said.
The department said they responded to the shooting in the 7500 block of Camp Bowie West Blvd. When officers arrived at the Landmark Lodge Motel they found two people with gunshot wounds to their "upper bodies," Fort Worth PD said.
Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. A male victim was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. The condition of the other victim is unknown at this time.
The victim's identities were not immediately released.
Homicide detectives believe a possible robbery led up to the shooting, but say the investigation is ongoing.
No arrests have been made, police said.
