CROWLEY, Texas — A woman is facing murder charges after stabbing a man at a Crowley apartment complex over the weekend.
The Crowley Police Department said on August 3 around 6:17 p.m. it received a report of a stabbing at the Landmark at Crowley apartments.
The victim was immediately taken to the hospital with stab wounds when officers arrived. He was later pronounced dead at John Peter Smith Hospital, police said.
Crowley PD said 34-year-old Lauren Goar was arrested at the scene.
"This was an isolated incident without further threat to the public," police said in a news release.
Goar is facing murder charges, and tampering/fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair. She's being held at the Tarrant County Jail on a $110,000 bond.
The Medical Examiner will release the identity of the victim at a later time.
