FORT WORTH, Texas — A man is in the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and another is behind bars after a fight on Thanksgiving turned into a shooting, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
Fort Worth police responded to a shooting call around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday in the 7000 block of Sylvan Meadows Drive, the department said. According to police, the two men involved got into an argument that led to shots being fired.
The victim was shot multiple times and was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, Fort Worth PD said. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived but was detained by officers nearby, according to the department.
