DUNCANVILLE, Texas — A man was shot multiple times while discussing the sale of a car in Duncanville on Wednesday.
According to the Duncanville Police Department, officers responded to multiple reports of a shooting at 875 E Highway 67 around 1 p.m.
Upon arrival, police said officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, so they began providing medical assistance until the Duncanville Fire Department arrived at the scene.
According to police, the injured man was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.
Police said officers were able to identify several parties involved including multiple witnesses.
According to police, officers discovered that those involved were there to discuss the sale of a car. However, an argument broke out and shots were fired. The bullets hit the man and no one else, police said.
The Duncanville Police Department said it has identified everyone involved and detectives are actively investigating the incident. According to police, this was an isolated shooting and there is not an ongoing threat to the public.
