DALLAS — A 26-year-old man was arrested after allegedly shooting and killing a man in an overnight shooting in Dallas, police said.
DPD said Thursday that the U.S. Marshals' North Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested 26-year-old Darrion Berry-Scott in connection with the shooting. Berry-Scott is facing a charge of Murder, police said.
Around 12:20 a.m. Saturday, Dallas police officers responded to a shooting in the 9200 block of Skillman Street, DPD said in a news release.
Police said they later found out that the victim, identified as 29-year-old Emethius Chiron Hardeman. had been dropped off at a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound. He died from his injuries, DPD said.
The motive of the shooting is unclear at this time.
