DALLAS — One person was killed in a shooting in South Dallas Friday evening, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Police said the shooting was reported at about 9 p.m. in the 8500 block of Old Hickory Trail.
When Dallas Fire Rescue arrived they found the male victim with gunshot wounds. He later died from his injuries, DFR said.
The events that led up to the gunfire are unknown as well as the suspect's description. The victim's identity was not immediately released.
