PLANO, Texas — A man was killed in a shooting in a Plano neighborhood Friday afternoon, the Plano Police Department confirmed.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3400 block of Hillridge Drive. When they arrived, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
Plano Fire-Rescue took the victim to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His identity was not immediately released.
A juvenile male was arrested in connection to the shooting at 12:15 a.m., Sunday, May 26. He is currently being held at the Collin County Juvenile Detention Center, according to police.
Police said the Crimes Against Persons Unit is leading the investigation.
