One person was taken into custody after a man was shot in the leg Monday night, Dallas police said.
The shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. on the 13310 block of Kit Lane.
When officers arrived, the victim told them he was in a verbal argument with someone he knew when that person took out a handgun and shot him, according to police.
The man was stable when first responders took him to a local hospital. Police said they took the alleged shooter into custody.
Police did not identify either individual or say what charges the suspect might face.
