ARLINGTON, Texas — A 38-year-old man was shot and killed at an Arlington apartment complex after he was heard arguing with someone Thursday night, police say.
Police say they responded to the apartment complex in the 2100 block of Cypress Club Drive shortly after 10 p.m. after residents reported hearing gunshots outside one of the buildings.
Officers found a man lying unresponsive on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds, police say. He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victim once next of kin is notified.
Residents told investigators they heard the man arguing with someone moments before they heard gunshots, according to a news release.
Police didn’t release suspect information, and no arrests have been made in the case.
