EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Texas — A man was hospitalized, and a woman was arrested after a boating accident in Tarrant County.
According to Tarrant Regional Water District, a man fell overboard from a boat on Eagle Mountain Lake. A woman operating the boat then reversed the engine, striking the man with the propeller and severely injuring him, TRWD says.
The man was taken by boat to Twin Points Park Boat Ramp, where Azle Fire Department EMS was waiting. According to TRWD, the man was then flown by Careflight Air Ambulance to a Fort Worth hospital, where he remains on life support.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens arrested the woman involved for boating while intoxicated.
According to TRWD, the investigation is ongoing.
