DALLAS — A man was shot and killed in the common area of an apartment complex in Dallas early Friday, police say.
Police responded to a call about shots fired in the 3300 block of Hudnall Street shortly before 4:30 a.m. Friday. Officers found Isaiah-Blasig-Prickett, 20, shot on the ground in the common area of the apartment complex, police said.
Blasig-Pickett was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, officials say.
Further investigation identified Shevaun Ffrench, 29, as the suspect, and Ffrench was arrested on a murder complaint and booked into the Dallas County Jail, officials say.
Police say the victim and the suspect know each other, and the investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
