LITTLE ELM, Texas — The Little Elm Police Department is helping with a search warrant as part of a multi-state theft ring investigation and made one arrest, the department said Tuesday.
The search warrant was executed at about 11 a.m. in the 800 block Country Side Way in Union Park, officials say.
While executing the warrant, police say one occupant tried to flee on foot but was quickly arrested. He is facing a charge of evading detention, a Class A misdemeanor.
Police say two other occupants went voluntarily with detectives to the police department for interviews, but no charges are being sought against them right now.
The search yielded evidence related to the investigation into the theft ring, which is ongoing, police said.
Little Elm police are working on the case in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Justice.
