Lewisville police ask for public's help identifying hit and run suspect

Investigators are looking for a light-colored pickup truck that may be responsible for a fatal hit-and-run, police said.

LEWISVILLE, Texas — Lewisville police are asking the public to help them identify the driver of a light-colored pickup truck that was spotted in the area of a hit-and-run crash.

Officers responded to reports of a dead person at 4:43 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 near 400 State Highway 121 Business, according to a release from Lewisville police. 

Police found an adult man killed by vehicular impact, the release states. The victim has not been identified. 

Investigators are looking for a light-colored truck seen in the area around 4:30 a.m., the release states. After exhausting all leads, police are asking for help to identify the car and its driver, the release states. 

There may be visible damage to the front left or front center of the truck, police said. Officers cannot provide a photo of the vehicle, according to the release.
