Suspect arrested in shooting that injured 3 people near a North Texas lakeside restaurant

Three people were shot after a verbal altercation near Sneaky Pete's restaurant in Lewisville, police said. A suspect was arrested Sunday.

LEWISVILLE, Texas — Police announced an arrest in connection to a shooting that injured three people near Sneaky Pete's restaurant at Lewisville Lake Aug. 4, officials said. 

Lewisville police and Denton County dispatch received multiple reports of a shooting incident at around 10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4 at the intersection of Eagle Point Drive and Marina Bay, Denton County officials said in a press release. 

Police found that three people were shot after a verbal altercation turned violent, according to the release. Two victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the other victim declined medical treatment, police said. 

Police arrested a suspect in connection to the shooting. Nathan Daniel Segovia, 18, was arrested on Aug. 18 in Dallas on two counts of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
