LANCASTER, Texas — Lancaster police are investigating a shooting after two men pulled a gun on each other in Lancaster on Tuesday night, police said.
Officers responded to a domestic dispute around 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 28 in the 1400 block of Glendover Dr. in Lancaster, according to a release from the Lancaster Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers were told that two adult men were fighting when both men discharged firearms. One man was shot and transported to a hospital by the Lancaster Fire Department. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
Police did not immediately release additional information about the victim. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, according to the release.
Lancaster police are investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to contact the Lancaster Police Department.
