IRVING, Texas — The Irving Police Department’s North Police Station was damaged in Saturday afternoon’s round of storms.
No one was injured at the police station in the 5900 block of Riverside Drive, police say, and officers are back on the streets.
“We do ask that the public avoid the area as our Emergency Management Team gets to work assessing the damage,” the Irving Police Department said in a post on social media.
Dispatch was not affected by the storms, so will remain available to take calls, Irving police added.
