SOUTHLAKE -- Police in Southlake have arrested a man they say allegedly shot and killed his wife at the Southlake Town Square Tuesday evening.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the victim as 55-year-old Linda Martin.
Officers were called to the intersection of Central Avenue and Southlake Boulevard, near a Jared jewelry store and Trader Joe's, just after 5 p.m. They found Linda Martin shot inside her vehicle.
Her husband, 52-year-old Kenneth Martin, was arrested at the scene and a handgun was recovered.
Linda Martin was taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine. She died just before 10:30 p.m.
Kenneth Martin is in custody and is waiting to be arraigned. Police say he will be charged with murder.
Police say the Martins lived in Flower Mound and were going through a divorce.
