FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police are investigating after a gun was fired outside of Eastern Hills High School.
Police say the incident happened just after 2 p.m. on Wednesday. There was reportedly a fight near the school when an unknown suspect fired a gun and ran off to a nearby apartment complex, officials say.
No victim has been confirmed as directly being shot, police say. The incident is still under investigation.
Eastern Hills High School Principal Lewis Washington called the shooting an "isolated incident" in a letter to parents.
"This was an isolated incident, but transparency to our community is important, that’s why we are communicating this incident to you," Washington wrote.
