GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas — A Sherman man was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession and distribution of child pornography, deputies say.
The Grayson County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) said they received a CyberTip regarding the sharing of child pornography online.
Adom Carbonell, 31, was identified as the account holder responsible for downloading and sharing child pornography, deputies said.
"GCSO investigators were able to confirm Carbonell’s involvement through his activity on a messaging account containing child exploitation material," the department said in a news release.
Carbonell is facing multiple charges related to the possession and distribution of illegal content.
“The combined efforts of our investigative team, NCMEC, and the Dallas ICAC Task Force have been crucial in bringing this case to justice,” stated Sheriff Watt.
