Officers said they responded to a disturbance call at about 7:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Running River Road, near Garland Avenue and Belt Line Road.
When police arrived, they said they found a man outside of his home with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The man, who police identified as 33-year-old Rontarious Hamilton, was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
