FRISCO - Police continue to search for a gunman involved in a fatal shooting this morning in Frisco, but have ended a lockdown of three area schools.
Police say an older man was fatally shot in the 7900 block of Gulf Street around 10 a.m. His assailant ran in the opposite direction from the campuses, but officials decided to issue a preventative lockdown on Gunstream Elementary, Wester Middle and Centennial High schools, said Frisco Sgt. Adam Henderson.
The victim, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at Centennial Medical Center in Frisco.
