Fermin Ramirez's sister-in-law said Jacob was Fermin's only son. He turned 22 years old earlier this month. The family also told WFAA someone was asked to leave the party just before the shooting happened. They said when shots were fired, Jacob was shot outside the house, and Fermin was shot as he was going inside.

Fort Worth police said the suspect drove away. No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is still on-going.

The Ramirez family said they plan to raise money to help with funeral costs. They also will have a balloon release for the victims during the weekend.
