FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth police are searching for a suspect in a shooting that sent a victim to the hospital in serious condition, officials said.
Police responded to reports of a shooting around 3:21 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at the intersection of Rosedale Street and Interstate 35 West, according to a statement from Fort Worth Police.
Officers found a man shot in the parking lot of a convenience store, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital in serious condition and is expected to survive, police said.
The suspect ran from the scene on foot, according to the statement.
The gun violence unit will lead the investigation, police said.
