FORT WORTH, Texas — Three people were shot early Saturday morning while travelling southbound on Interstate 35W, according to police.
The Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) said its south units responded just before 5 a.m. to 11801 South Freeway (I-35W). Police said the officers were called because three people in a vehicle where hit by gunfire while travelling southbound on I-35W.
All three victims self-transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening wounds, FWPD said.
According to FWPD, those responsible for the shooting fled and have not been arrested.
There were no further updates available Saturday morning.
