AZLE -- An investigation is underway after a Tarrant County sheriff's deputy shot and killed an Azle man who investigators say stabbed three relatives.
Police and the sheriff's department were called to the domestic dispute in a home on Lamplighter Court at about midnight Tuesday.
Officers found a man, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office as Kamal Dajani, stabbing his grandmother inside the home. He was shot and killed by a deputy on the scene when he refused to drop his weapon.
Dajani's mother and brother were also found stabbed outside the house.
All of the victims were taken to a local hospital but their conditions have not been released.
The Star-Telegram reports Azle police officers were called to the same home three times in 2014 for family disturbance calls involving Dejani. He was never arrested.
