DENTON, Texas — Denton police are investigating the murder of a person who was found in a home with traumatic injuries overnight Tuesday.
Police were called at about 11:10 p.m. last Tuesday in the 3700 block of Holland Lane, police said. The victim, 20-year-old Dylan Gurley, was found with traumatic injuries and taken to a hospital for treatment, where Gurley was later pronounced dead despite life-saving measures.
The investigation is ongoing, but police say they believe there is no active threat to the public.
