DENTON, Texas — A Denton chiropractor has been arrested and indicted on five counts of sexual assault after two women told police he had sexually assaulted them during appointments last year, the Denton Police Department (DPD) said.
One woman came forward in June 2023 to report the incident in June 2023, police said, and a second victim made another report against the suspect, Hector Reyes, later that month.
Both reported assaults allegedly took place at Reyes' business in the 2500 block of Lillian Miller Parkway, according to DPD.
Following an investigation, the cases were shown to a Denton County grand jury on Tuesday, who indicted Reyes. Four charges were connected to the first report for each act that occurred during the incident, police say.
Reyes, 39, was arrested at his business on Tuesday and booked into the Denton County Jail. He has a total bond set at $115,000.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information regarding Reyes is asked to call Detective David Acrey at (940)349-7993.
