DALLAS — A driver engineer with Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) has been put on administrative leave following an arrest related to a child pornography charge, officials said.
The fire department confirmed that Jesse McFall was arrested by Dallas Police on Tuesday, Jan. 17. Records obtained by WFAA show that he bonded out of jail Wednesday morning.
According to court documents, a detective from the Dallas Police Department received a tip from an electronic service provider reporting an account associated with McFall’s phone number had uploaded child pornography.
A search warrant revealed that electronic account showed multiple files of child pornography, according to investigators.
The FBI assisted Dallas police in its probe against McFall.
In a statement to WFAA, a DFR representative said McFall has been with the department since October 2011. He will remain on administrative leave until an investigation is finished.
The Dallas Fire Fighters Association also issued a statement saying, in part, “this is not reflective of the members of this department and the fine work Dallas Firefighters do every day to protect this community.”
