DALLAS — Dallas police are investigating after they say a man fatally shot a woman before shooting himself in an apparent murder-suicide in North Dallas.
Police responded to the 10000 block of Steppington Drive for a welfare check shortly before 11 a.m. Dec. 30 and said they found two people with gunshot wounds.
Police say Jesus Magana, 28, shot Brenda Cruz, 29, then shot himself. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced them both dead at the scene, according to police.
