21-year-old man fatally shot in Dallas, police say

Police are investigating the case as a capital murder, but officials did not provide more information about the shooting.

DALLAS — A 21-year-old man was fatally shot in a neighborhood northeast of downtown Dallas on Monday afternoon, police said.

Officers responded around 3 p.m. to a shooting call in the 3500 block of Ross Avenue, near North Hall Street, where they found the victim, according to a police news release.

The victim was identified as Carlos Rogue, and police said he died at the scene.

Police are investigating the case as a capital murder, but officials did not provide more information about the shooting.

The family has set up a GoFundMe account to help with funeral arrangements.
