DALLAS — A women was shot inside a car alongside a 5-month-old Monday in Dallas, police said.
Dallas Police said officers responded to a shooting call around 4 a.m. off of S Carroll Avenue near Main Street in Dallas. Officers found Tacara Nashay Reese-Windom, 23, shot inside her vehicle and a 5-month-old child also in the car.
Reese-Windom was transported to a hospital where she died. The 5-month-old was also taken to a hospital for evaluation, police said, though they didn't say if the baby was injured.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
