DALLAS — Dallas police are investigating a homicide after the Medical Examiner ruled a 43-year-old woman died from homicidal violence.
Police responded to a call for service at 7 a.m. on April 29 in the 3200 block of Reed Lane. They found Lakeisha Simpson dead at the location and were investigating the incident as an unexplained death, according to a release from the Dallas Police Department.
The Medical Examiner ruled that Simpson died from homicidal violence on April 30 and the case was assigned to the Homicide Unit, the release states.
