DALLAS — Two teens were shot, and one of them died, in a shooting at an apartment complex in Dallas, police said.
The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said officers responded at approximately 8:55 p.m. on Friday to the 2400 block of Robert B. Cullum Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old male and 15-year-old female had been shot.
The 16-year-old was found in an apartment breezeway, and the 15-year-old was found in a nearby apartment, DPD said. Both teens were taken to the hospital, and the 16-year-old died from his injuries, police said. The 15-year-old was treated and released.
DPD did not release the victims identities since they are juveniles.
DPD said the incident appears to be isolated, and there was no suspect description available. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact Detective Yahir Perez at (469)849-3757 or yahir.perez@dallaspolice.gov.
