DALLAS — Dallas police say they've issued an arrest warrant for a 63-year-old man in a woman's death last Wednesday.

Officers responded to a shooting call on Feb. 1 in the 2500 block of Marburg Street.

When they arrived, they found a woman with a gunshot wound who was later pronounced dead. Police identified her as 38-year-old Erica Davis.

During the investigation, Donnie Moreland was named as a witness. Police say he told officers that Davis had shot herself.

On Monday, the Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office did an autopsy and ruled that someone else killed Davis. Police say Moreland was determined to be shooter after further investigation.
