DALLAS — A search for a gunman is underway after three teens were shot inside a vehicle that led to a crash at a West Dallas apartment complex, police say.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Bickers Street at about 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 27.
Police told WFAA that three of the four teens – ranging in age from 17 to 19 – were found shot inside a vehicle and were transported to a local hospital. Police say two of the three have been treated and released from the hospital and the other is in stable condition as of Friday morning.
According to police at the scene, the teens drove to the apartment complex to meet someone but were confronted by a shooter. When the teens tried to get away while being shot at, their vehicle crashed into a parked car and then struck a tree, police said.
No arrests have been made in the case as the investigation continues, police said.
