Dallas Crip added to state's most wanted list

The Texas Department of Public Safety added Frederick Lee Davis to the list on Wednesday. He's a known member of the Crips street gang and, the DPS warns, is armed and dangerous.

DALLAS A Dallas parolee with a history of violent felony offenses is now one of the state's 10 most wanted fugitives.

The Texas Department of Public Safety added Frederick Lee Davis to the list on Wednesday. He's a known member of the Crips street gang and, the DPS warns, is armed and dangerous.

Davis, 24, was released on parole in 2012 following a 2007 conviction on three counts of burglary of a habitation and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. He stopped checking in with his parole officer and was labeled an absconder on May 29. The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles then issued a warrant for his arrest.

Then came June 13: The Dallas County Sheriff's Department issued a separate warrant for his arrest after charging him with burglarizing a habitation with intent to commit a felony other than theft. He also violated a protective order, which would have expired on June 24.

Davis' criminal history also includes aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault casing bodily injury family member, unauthorized use of a vehicle, possession of marijuana and endangering a child without intent to return.

He's 6'1'' tall and weighs 260 pounds. Davis has a gunshot scar on his front left knee a scar from a cut on his upper lip. On his chest are the tattoos "SS," "GOON," "45," and a clown. He has lines tattooed above and below his left eye. On his upper right arm are the words "RK," a tattoo of cheese and the number "87." He has a tattoo of a Smurf character on his upper left arm.

His last known address is an apartment complex at 4950 Wadsworth Drive, located just off Loop 12 to the west of Interstate 45.He's previously worked janitorial jobs.

DPS has issued a $10,000 reward for information leading to Davis' capture. Anyone who wishes to submit a tip can do so by calling 1.800.252.8477 or 911. DPS warns not to approach him.
