DALLAS — One person is dead and another is injured after a double shooting at an illegal gambling site in Dallas, police said.
Officers responded to a shooting call at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 in the 300 block of E. Ledbetter Drive, Dallas police said in a press release. Officers found two men shot at the location. One victim, Estevan Narvaez Jr. died at the scene, according to police. Another man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police believe the location of the incident was an illegal gambling site. At least two men walked into the gambling site and demanded property from the people inside, investigators found. The suspects shot and hit Narvaez before running away, police said.
