COLLIN COUNTY, Texas — The Collin County Sheriff's Office has arrested and charged a suspect in connection to an ongoing murder investigation, police say.

Mark Horak, 65, was charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence with intent to impair a human corpse, a second-degree felony. Police say the victim, 33-year-old Olutoyosi Molomo, was found dead in July at Horak's residence in McKinney.

Police say the charge stems from Horak knowingly altering the crime scene after Molomo's death.

On July 31, deputies were called about an unconscious man at Horak's home, police say. They discovered Molomo with fatal injuries on arrival, and his cause of death was later determined to be murder by a gunshot wound.

CCSO is asking anyone with information regarding this case to call its criminal investigations division at 972-547-5161.
