FORT WORTH, Texas — A child was hospitalized after being attacked by a dog in Fort Worth Saturday, police say.
Fort Worth police were called to a home in the 9000 block of Carroll Cabin Way at about 2:30 p.m. and say they found a child with wounds resulting from a dog attack.
The child was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, police say.
The dog belonged to another person who was visiting the child’s family at the time, according to police.
Fort Worth police say they notified Crimes Against Children and animal cruelty detectives to help investigate the incident.
