CEDAR HILL An assistant principal at Cedar Hill High School has been placed on paid administrative leave following his arrest.
Anthony Taylor was arrested and charged with allegedly assaulting a DeSoto Police officer.
According to a statement released by Cedar Hill Independent School District, the incident happened Thursday at a meeting of the Candle Meadow Home Owners Association. The meeting had become verbally heated and police were called.
Taylor was charged with assaulting a public servant, assault-offensive contact, resisting arrest and interfering with public duties.
He was released on bond Friday morning.
Taylor has been an employee with Cedar Hill ISD for three years.
