Burleson police say they have made an arrest in connection with Tuesday night's hit-and-run death of a motorcyclist.
Connor Caldwell, 21, was taken into custody at his Burleson home Wednesday evening on a charge of accident involving death.
Investigators said 38-year-old Clayton Stokes of Burleson was struck from behind as he was riding in the 1800 block of East Renfro Street on Tuesday night. A passing motorist called 911 to report seeing the unresponsive victim and his motorcycle in a ditch.
Using debris found at the accident scene, investigators were able to determine that stokes had been hit by a gray metallic Ford F-150 pickup truck.
If convicted, Caldwell faces a prison term of two to 20 years and up to a $10,000 fine. He was held on a $15,000 bond but has since paid it and been released.
Police said the Johnson County District Attorney's office will handle the case.
