Burleson PD seek 'person of interest' in felony theft

BURLESON — Burleson Police are still in search of a woman believed to be involved in the felony theft of two TVs from a Sam's Club store three weeks ago.

The woman, pictured above, is labeled as a "person of interest."

A 70-inch Vizio TV and a 55-inch LG TV were stolen from the Sam's Club on the 600 block of North Burleson Boulevard around 2:20 p.m. on Dec. 13. The old-model truck shown could have been used in the theft, according to police.

According to Chapter 3 of the Texas penal code, theft of between $500 and $1,500 is a state jail felony. Theft of property valued at $1,500 to $20,000 is a third degree felony.

Burleson PD is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the woman. Police urge anyone with information to call Johnson County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-794-8477 or 817-469-8477, or visiting Crime Stoppers online. People can also text 274637 and type JCCS, then the message.
