DALLAS — Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information regarding a deadly shooting that happened in the area of Big T Plaza.
The Dallas Police Department said officers responded to a shooting call at about 3:10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 in the 4500 block of Village Fair Drive.
According to the preliminary investigation, police determined that a man stepped in to defend a victim from being robbed when he was shot by an unknown suspect or suspects. DPD said a 31-year-old woman, who was reportedly not involved in the incident, was also shot.
The male victim, identified by police as 38-year-old Quentin Gellington, was transported to a local hospital where later died from his injuries. The woman was treated and released, police said.
